Every instrument is unique, and every player has a different request. Some instruments, with little work, can solve the problem easily. But some require hours to diagnose, even before the repair.
The following information is just to give my customer a rough image to understand what kind of service I offer and why they can be charged very differently. The price and time-consuming is just to show a rough range.

Bridge fitting

Cost of the material (for violin) $30 - $80
Each bridge brand offers different grades and sizes, which vary greatly in price. My bridges are different from the freshly made ones sold in stores, as they have been naturally air-dried for at least 10 years under indoor conditions. But however, we charge the same price as the normal store. The brand we are using are: Dispiau 3 stars ( Top os the line)/ Aubert de-luxe (Top of the line)/Milo Stamm Royal (Top of the line) and BARSA Super de luxe (Most expensive bridge in the world)

Cost of labor $50 per hour
The time consumption for each instrument can vary greatly, depending primarily on the requirements of the instrument or the client's requirements. A beginner violin may take around 2-3 hours while a soloist-level violin may require at least 8 hours of work.

About Cello and Viola
The cost of materials for a viola is 1.5 times that of a violin. And for a cello is about 4 times that of a violin. The cost of labour for a viola is the same as the violin. And for a cello is about 2 times that of a violin.
